A little more rambunctious than the Saturday night Ball, The Faire presents an interactive night of Barbary-themed Midway Games, bicycle-powered carnival rides by Cyclecide, Steam-powered machinery by KSW, circus sideshows, burlesque, and this year, a foray into “Chap Hop” with headliner Professor Elemental direct from the UK! Also featuring longtime Edwardian disc jockey Delachaux, Sour Mash Hug Band, Flynn Creek Circus, Vau de Vire Society, DJ Fact.50, and our now-famous Vendor Bazaar & Piano Saloon featuring the John Brothers Piano Company. This will also be the debut of our “Museum of Wonders” in the opulent Regency Lodge, an entire additional floor of the Regency dedicated to fine art, living statues, fortune telling, sideshows, and haunted mysteries to be discovered through self-guided tours from 8-11pm. Our Esteemed Professor
|
We are so pleased to have Professor Elemental as our esteemed guest for Friday night’s World’s Faire (see a video clip here!) And seeing as he has traveled by airship all the way from the UK, why not have a tea party in his honor?
We are pleased to announce a special Saturday daytime event, “Afternoon Tea with Professor Elemental,” wherein a very limited number of guests may purchase tickets for proper afternoon tea with the King of Chap Hop, inside our new Museum of Wonders in the opulent Regency Lodge. While guests enjoy fine tea and pastries, The Professor will entertain each table and offer a ‘menu’ of rap subjects. The selection will then be accommodated by a unique, a capella performance, followed by a bit of whimsical chat and capricious banter.
Afternoon Tea at The Regency Lodge, entrance 1290 Sutter Street (around the corner from the main Ballroom entrance). Advance tickets $30, and going fast! Ticket includes tea and delicious treats, all ages welcome. 3-5pm
Sat 1/21 – FREE Vendor Bazaar Daytime Shopping, 12-5pm in the Sutter Room

Our now-legendary Vendor Bazaar featuring dozens of unique, hand-selected vendors, is a vibrant part of both San Francisco and Los Angeles events, and is open from 8pm-2am all nights.
But IN ADDITION, we are again offering free daytime shopping in SF on Saturday the 21st, from noon-5pm, a perfect time to peruse the bewitching marketplace of artistan creations, and perhaps scoop up that last treasure for the Saturday night Ball. See our Vending Page for an ever-growing list of participating vendors. We have just a very few spots left in both SF and LA, if you’re interested please contact Anna Q, Vending Queen, anna(at)edwardianball.com.
Vendor Bazaar Entrance is 1270 Sutter Street, around the corner from the main Ballroom Entrance. Full bar available for 21+ with ID.
Thurs 1/19 – Hubba Hubba Revue presents the Wild West Burlesque @ DNA Lounge
For the past few years we have had the honor of The Esteemed Colonel Kingfish hosting The Edwardian World’s Faire on Friday night. This year is no exception, but he’s taking it one step further and throwing us an Opening Night Party at The DNA Lounge, on Thursday before the Regency events begin!
Building on this year’s thematic inclination towards the Barbary and tinge of the good ol’ saloon days, we proudly announce The Wild West Burlesque!
