Pick a piece of your costume to embellish with beads.
Find a simple, inspiring design to outline.
Sew a loose outline using a contrasting thread (don’t tie it—keep it removable!).
Use a thread matching your beads or fabric, knot it 1” in, and hide the end between fabric layers.
Measure your bead on the needle, slip it between fabric layers, and stitch it securely.
